MASON — One of Kings Islands’ original attractions is closing for the rest of the 2021 season after this weekend.
Park officials announced that the park’s Eiffel Tower will close after this weekend’s operations so that crews can begin repainting the structure.

The renovation to the park’s Eiffel Tower is in preparation for the park’s 50th anniversary, which will be marked in 2022.

The park’s Eiffel Tower weighs 450 tons and takes 30 seconds to ride to the top viewing platform.
