DAYTON — Police are working to identify the suspects of a home invasion that occurred around 4 p.m. on Saturday.
Crews were dispatched to the 100 block of Edison St. to respond to initial scanner reports of an armed robbery.
Sgt. Alexander Magill with the Dayton police confirmed with News Center 7 that the incident was a home invasion where suspects fired shots inside of the house.
The home owner then returned fire.
There are currently no details on whether or not anyone was harmed during the incident.
The suspects were described to have been a group of males wearing masks.
The incident is still under investigation while police search the area to get suspect descriptions.
