SURVEILLANCE: Police looking for man who robbed Xenia Rite Aid

XENIA — Police are looking for a man who robbed a Ride Aid pharmacy in Xenia Wednesday.

The robbery was reported around 10:10 a.m. at the store in the 30 block of South Allison Avenue.

Xenia Police Sgt. Scott Beegle said an inventory is currently being done to determine what was taken during the robbery. He said police are unsure if he got away with money or medications.

The robber displayed a note demanding property and no verbal threats were made, he said.

The robber had a vehicle waiting for him around the corner from the business, police said.

Five or six employees were inside the business at the time. It’s unknown if any customers were inside.

No one was injured.

The man is described as a male, 5-foot-5 to 5-foot-10, in his early 20s, and wearing a white T-shirt with a black hooded sweatshirt and black pants.
