Police investigating report of Family Dollar armed robbery in Dayton

Dayton police are investigating the reported armed robbery of the Family Dollar store, 3222 Salem Ave., by a masked man who is believed to have shown a handgun.

The robbery was reported at 9:23 p.m.

According to police, the suspect was wearing a black mask, black jacket, black pants and a yellow sweatshirt.

The suspect was last seen on foot headed toward West Hillcrest Avenue.
