Police investigate self-inflicted shooting at Centerville car dealership

CENTERVILLE — Police are investigating a self-inflicted shooting in front of the Bob Ross Buick, GMC dealership in Centerville Thursday morning.

Officers were requested to the dealership at 85 Loop Road in Centerville around 9:30 a.m. on reports a person shot themselves in front of the entrance to the sales building, according to police.

Police said the person was transported to an area hospital for treatment but their condition was not immediately released.

The sales side of the dealership is currently closed for the investigation but the service side is open, according to Centerville police.
