MIDDLETOWN — Authorities are investigating after a 22-year-old man was killed in Middletown on Wednesday night.

Middletown police responded to reports of a person down near Greenfield Drive and Spring Grove Lane just before 10 p.m.

Upon arrival, officers found a man on the ground with serious injuries.
The Middletown Division of Police identified the victim as Amonte Lee Holdbrooks, 22.
Holdbrooks was transported to Atrium Medical Center before being transferred to Miami Valley Hospital, where he died.
The division is investigating Holdbrooks’ death as a homicide.
