Police on the scene told News Center 7 that they were there executing a search warrant at a home in the block. They also confirmed that a SWAT team had been on the scene to assist when they first got there this morning, but left after the house was secured. They were there because the search warrant was considered “high risk.”

“The threat assessment that was done here resulted in a safer practice using a high-risk warrant team to serve the warrant to make sure our residents are safe,” Miamisburg Police Chief Mike Brem told News Center 7.

A few people were detained and questioned during the search but they were not arrested, according to police on the scene.

As reported on News Center 7 at 5:00, police confirmed the search warrant was for narcotics and prostitution-related charges.

Police also announced that they’re looking for 38-year-old Rolando Booker, who police have a felony arrest warrant for.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to contact Miamisburg Police Detective Joe Dooley at (937)-847-6448.
