Pizza customer gives delivery driver fake $100 bill, runs off with pie

A Domino’s delivery driver was robbed early Sunday.

The employee told police he was dropping off a pizza on Lexington Avenue when a man sitting on the front porch handed him a $100 bill, according to a Dayton police report.

After the worker told the customer he didn’t have change, the man grabbed the pizza and took off running.

Police say the $100 bill the employee received was fake.

The employee told police the thief was 20 to 25 years old, had short black hair and looked to weigh between 190 and 200 pounds. The suspect was about 5 feet 10 and was wearing a white shirt with dark pants and white tennis shoes.

Police searched the area of Lexington Avenue, but were unable to find the suspect or any evidence.
