Piqua woman with 4 kids in vehicle accused of ramming into ex’s SUV

DAYTON — A Piqua woman is in jail after being accused of intentionally driving her SUV, which had four young children inside, into a vehicle being driven by her child’s father on Sunday.

Taylor Marie Hines, 26, is now facing charges of felonious assault, and misdemeanor charges including three counts of endangering children, criminal damaging and domestic violence, according to court documents.

A man received a Ring doorbell notification Sunday morning that captured video of Hines driving a Dodge Journey and striking his Chevrolet Express parked in his driveway while he was at the B&B Lounge and Grill on Salem Ave. in Dayton.

The man decided to leave the lounge when Hines showed up.

Hines allegedly punched her child’s father three times, who has a temporary protection order against her, according to an affidavit.

She then got back inside the SUV, where four children under the age of eight were inside, and struck the man’s SUV after he got inside.

Hines backed up the SUV and rammed the GMC a second time before her wheels became stuck, which allowed the man to flee.

Hines was later booked into the Montgomery County Jail, where she is being held on a $50,000 bond.
