Kitridge Road area in Greene County cancels boil advisory

GREENE COUNTY — UPDATE @ 2:34 p.m. (Feb. 15):

The boil advisory has been lifted for residents in the Kitridge Road area in Greene County, according to Greene County Sanitary Engineering.

The water curtailment request has also been lifted.

GCSE cited a release from the City of Dayton, which the agency said would also apply to GCSE customers.

The release advised customers to run tap lines for three minutes before using the water for cooking or drinking.

UPDATE @ 10:15 a.m. (Feb. 14):

Residents in the Kitridge Road area in Greene County are still under a boil advisory.

The advisory will continue until the City of Dayton lifts the advisory for their customers, according to Greene County Sanitary Engineering.

The advisory is reportedly expected to be lifted sometime Friday.

Residents should also try to conserve water at this time.

The Dayton water shortage and boil advisory also affects residents of the Kitridge Road area in Greene County.

Greene County Sanitary Engineering purchases water from the city of Dayton to serve that area, and advises customers to boil water for at least one minute before consuming and to try to curtail water use during this event.

No other Greene County customers are affected.

The following streets are under a boil advisory and are asked to conserve water:

• Apex Street
• Artic Street
• Depoy Street
• Denver Street
• Earlington Street
• East Kitridge Road
• Keeler Street
• Riley Street
• Van Meter Street
