HARRISON TOWNSHIP — UPDATE 5:00 p.m.:
The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office said an investigation is underway in regards to a shooting that injured one man in Harrison Twp. Friday night.
The incident took place just before 10:30 p.m. Friday evening when Deputies were patrolling the area of North Main Street in the area of Julia. According to a press release, Deputies heard several gunshots west of Main Street.
Upon responding to the area, Deputies did not locate anything suspicious.
A short time later, the Sheriff’s Office said Deputies were called to the 300 block of Heikes Road in regards to a man knocking at the rear door of a residence claiming to have been shot.
Upon arrival, Deputies found the male subject to have two minor scrapes under his arm from an apparent graze wound from a bullet.
The male refused to provide any information to deputies regarding the incident and was transported to hospital for evaluation.
Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Unit will continue to investigate the incident.

One man was injured after a shooting in Harrison Township Friday night.
Montgomery County Dispatch tells us that crews responded to a shooting on the 300 block of Heikes Avenue at 10:25 p.m. Friday.

When crews arrived on the scene they found one man who had been shot.
According to dispatch’s records, the man did not cooperate with police and refused to be transported to a hospital for his injury.
Officials say they will continue to investigate why the shooting happened.
