The Clermont County Sheriff’s Office said a student’s parent initially reported the staff member in early February.
The parent said there was “inappropriate physical contact” involving Gilbert and multiple students, WCPO-9 reported.
Detectives responded to the school and learned that the school had placed Gilbert on administrative leave after learning about the parents’ allegations.
Four juveniles reported instances of “inappropriate and unwanted physical contact by Gilbert” during school and on multiple different occasions.
Detectives attempted to interview Gilbert, but he declined, our media partner reported.
Gilbert is scheduled to appear in court on April 10.
