Suspect armed with knife ‘acting erratically’ shot by Cincinnati police

CINCINNATI — A police officer shot a suspect who was armed with a knife in a Madisonville park Thursday morning.

The suspect was “acting erratically,” Police Chief Eliot Isaac told our partners at WCPO.

The suspect, who has not been identified, was shot multiple times around 10:30 a.m. and taken to a hospital. The extent of injuries is unknown at this time.

The officer was not injured.
