North Barron Street blocked as firefighters battle Eaton house fire

EATON — Firefighters have blocked a portion of North Barron Street after a house caught fire this afternoon.

Fire crews responded to the house in the 100 block of North Barron around 3 p.m.

Smoke and flames were coming from the home when the fire department got to the house.

Initial emergency dispatch reports indicated everyone was able to get out of the house, however it’s unclear if anyone needed any medical help.
