Premier Health partnered with the University of Dayton and opened a new facility on Brown Street Thursday.

A big goal is to provide on-campus care for UD employees, students, and their families.

“This innovative partnership will expand community, staff, and student access to a broad range of quality care options,” said Mike Riordan, president and CEO of Premier Health. “Our region’s employers are looking for opportunities to provide convenient access to quality health care services for their employees, and this employer clinic model achieves that goal.”

The 47,000-square-foot facility will also offer neuro and physical rehabilitation and therapy.

“When you think about convenience and easy access, having folks for outpatient services going to that campus is a little complicated,” said Lainie Dean, System Vice President, and Chief Strategy Officer of Premier Health. “We wanted something easier for them to come to and through.”

Premier Health says the urgent care is just for UD students and staff that will be an after-hours clinic with evening and weekend hours.
