New non-stop, daily flight at Dayton International Airport to be unveiled today

DAYTON — A new non-stop, daily flight possibly going in and out of the Dayton International Airport will be announced today in the afternoon.

Several city officials and organization leaders are expected to be at the unveiling of the new non-stop, daily flight to or from the Dayton International Airport.

The people to attend include the airline representative; Gil Turner, Director of Aviation, Dayton International Airport; Mayor Jeffrey Mims, City of Dayton; Commissioner Judy Dodge, Montgomery County Commission; Jenny Michael, CEO, CareSource Foundation and SVP, Advocacy; Chris Kershner, President & CEO, Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce; and Terry Slaybaugh, Vice President of Infrastructure and Sites, JobsOhio.

It is currently unknown if the flight will arrive or depart from the Dayton International Airport.

The airline introducing the new flight was also not disclosed.

The announcement is expected to come at 3 p.m. News Center 7 will attend the event to learn more.
