YELLOW SPRINGS — The Foodbank is opening a new mobile pantry in Greene County on Thursday, May 20.
The University of Dayton analyzed several areas where food insecurity is highest and chose to place the new site in Yellow Springs.
The pantry will be open every third Thursday of the month at First Baptist Church on 600 Dayton St. in Yellow Springs from 1:00-3:00 p.m.
“Our partnership with The University of Dayton is invaluable because it allows us to pinpoint where we are needed most,” says Michelle L. Riley, CEO of The Foodbank. “Our vision is that no one should go hungry, and this software helps us do just that. We are looking forward to serving the Yellow Springs and Greene County community.”
The new site is open to anyone in need of food assistance.
