MIAMI VALLEY — Have unwanted, expired or unused pills or capsules? Drop them off to a local agency during the DEA’s National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day on Saturday, April 27 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
This day is for a safe, convenient and responsible way to dispose of prescription drugs.
Pills and patches will be accepted. Liquids, needles and powders will not be accepted. Pills should be removed from containers and placed in a zipper-lock storage bag.

Last year, nearly 460 tons – more than 900,000 pounds – of prescription drugs were turned in at over 5,800 sites.
