MIAMI VALLEY — Thousands of Verizon users are reporting outages on Saturday.

The website Downtector reports between 12,000 and 13,000 problems with Verizon in the last 24 hours.

Downtector says that 91 percent of the most reported problems are with their mobile phone.
Five percent are reporting problems with mobile internet. Three percent are reporting issues with 5G Home Internet.
A Verizon spokesperson sent the following statement to News Center 7.
“We are aware of an issue impacting voice services for wireless customers in some parts of the U.S.
“Our engineers are engaged, and we are working quickly to identify and resolve the issue.
“Please visit our Check Network Status page for updates on service in your area.
“We know how much people rely on Verizon and apologize for any inconvenience.
“We appreciate your patience.”
