Crash temporarily shuts down part of U.S. 68 in Champaign County

CHAMPAIGN COUNTY — UPDATE @ 9:30 p.m.

The crash at U.S. 68 north of Hickory Grove Road was cleared around 7:15 p.m.

There was no information on injuries in the crash.

FIRST REPORT

A portion of U.S. 68 is shut down tonight north of Hickory Grove Road following a report of a three-vehicle crash with injuries.

A Champaign County Sheriff’s dispatcher said it’s not clear how many people are hurt, nor the severity of their injuries.
