Movie theaters announce additional reopenings in Miami Valley

MIAMI VALLEY — Area movie theater chains have announced plans to reopen additional locations beginning this weekend.

Cinemark announced it will reopen the Miamisburg and Huber Heights locations on Friday.

Republic Theaters also will reopen its cinemas in Franklin, Bellefontaine and Wilmington on Friday.

Regal Cinemas in Beavercreek also will reopen Friday.

On Aug. 28, Cinemark will reopen its location in Piqua and Cinepolis at Austin Landing will reopen.

All of the local chains are showing classic movies as part of the reopening plans.

Cinemark at the Greene became the first area theater to reopen, when it welcomed back movie-goers last week.
