Milder air on the way after a freeze warning and chilly start

A freeze warning is again in effect this morning until 9.

Despite sunshine, temperatures will start out around 30 degrees. Gusty southwesterly winds will develop during the afternoon and pump up some much milder air.

Temperatures will soar to around 60 degrees by late in the day. Clouds will be on the increase by afternoon as a cold front approaches.

Showers will develop late in the day and into the evening. A rumble of thunder will also be possible.

Chillier air will filter back in late tonight into Thursday, with a few lingering showers Thursday morning. Clouds will linger much of the day with highs holding in the upper 40s.

Skies will clear as a warming trend gets underway Friday.
