Middletown police to deliver candy to children with disabilities unable to trick-or-treat this year

MIDDLETOWN — The Middletown Police Department is offering to bring Halloween candy to children with disabilities who aren’t able to trick-or-treat this year.

The police department announced it will be hosting its sixth annual “Candy with a Cop” event at 1 p.m. on Oct. 31.

Parents can send a private message through the department’s Facebook page, and officers and special volunteers will personally deliver them a special Halloween treat.

The police department asks parents to send a message no later than Monday, October 11th.
