Butler County Sheriff’s Office corrections lieutenant dies

BULTER CO. — The Butler County Sheriff’s Office has announced the death of Corrections Lieutenant David Reynolds.

In a social media post, the Sheriff’s Office said Reynolds died after a “short term illness.”

Described as an “in the trenches guy” in a social media post, Reynolds began working with the Sheriff’s Office in 2001.

Reynolds was previously involved with the Hanover Twp. Fire Department.

The Sheriff’s Office said Reynolds was also an ordained minster and had officiated several co-workers’ weddings.
