On Tuesday, Kim Deaton, who is a custodian at Amanda Elementary School, made a TikTok video that expressed her feelings on how she never wants a tragic death like Hutchinson’s to happen again.

The message Deaton wanted to send was that there are people who are willing to take care of children just like Hutchinson, and the parent just needs to reach out.

“I’m a custodian. My number is on the door for deliveries,” Deaton said with tears in her eyes. “Take them back. Call that number. I’ll come get them. No questions asked.”

The video now has more than 260 thousand likes and more than 860 million views.

Deaton said she felt like the video was something she had to do as a way to cope with the loss.

She also said she wasn’t expecting it to receive so much attention, but if one person gets the message she has done her job.

“If we don’t tell each other and if we don’t become the community, I know we are…we’re never going to get out of the rut that we are in. We got to get past this,” said Deaton.

The Butler County Grand Jury handed down a list of indictments Friday afternoon against Hutchinson’s mother, Brittany Gosney, and her boyfriend James Hamilton.

The couple was indicted on a combined 31 felony charges.

The search for the body of James Hutchinson will resume Sunday, when search crews will return to the Ohio River in Lawrenceburg, Indiana after high water delayed the search through most of the week, according to Middletown police.
