Fire engine responding to emergency call involved in Miami Twp. crash

MIAMI TWP. — A Miami Valley Fire District fire engine responding to a call was involved in a crash at the intersection of Lyons and Byers roads in Miami Twp. Thursday, according to police.

Crews on the engine reported the crash around 9:50 a.m. at the intersection.

Medics were requested for observational purposes only, however no one was transported from the scene.

The engine was responding to a report of a fire alarm going off at the Pipestone golf course, according to police and initial reports.
