Miami Twp. Roosters reopens dine-in services

MIAMI TWP., Montgomery County — UPDATE: 7/14/20 @ 4 p.m.

The Miami Twp. Roosters announced they have reopened their dine-in services in a Facebook post Monday.

Five positive coronavirus cases caused the located to abruptly close June 30 to ensure the health and safety of staff and customers.

“Welcome back, we appreciate all of your continued support,” stated the post announcing the reopening of the dining room in Miami Twp.

The Roosters location at 9400 Springboro Pike announced it has voluntarily closed to ensure the health and safety of team members and guests following positive COVID-19 cases at the location.

News Center 7′s John Bedell went to the restaurant Tuesday afternoon after viewers contacted WHIO-TV about possible COVID-19 cases and discovered the restaurant had been operating as carryout only.

By 4 p.m. the restaurant had announced the closure on its Facebook page citing five positive cases as the reason for the decision.

Public Health-Dayton & Montgomery County confirmed the five cases late Tuesday afternoon.

Roosters said it plans to reopen on July 6 for carry-out service only until further notice.
