The semitrailer hit the van, causing the semi to overturn and catch fire.

The driver of the semitrailer was able to get out of the cab, however he suffered burns and was transported by CareFlight medical helicopter to Miami Valley Hospital, deputies said.

The driver of the van was trapped inside the vehicle after the crash, but was rescued by fire crews and transported by ground ambulance to an area hospital.
