A 27-year-old man was arrested Sunday night after police found him with two underage girls inside a home on Brighton Avenue.
At 11:15 p.m., Dayton police were alerted to some suspicious activity in area and saw several lights on inside what they believed to be a vacant house, according to a police report.
When officers approached the home they smelled a "strong odor" of marijuana coming from an open window, according to the report.
Todd Peyton Jr., 27, told police the home was his girlfriend's and that he was "just hanging out" there with two females — later revealed to be 16 and 17 years old.
The teens told police they had met Peyton on Facebook and he bought them some beer which they took sips of as they smoked marijuana inside the home that evening. One of the girls said Peyton told them to "go to the basement" upon hearing police knocking at the door.
Officers contacted the girls' parents, who didn't know where they were.
The report indicates the home belongs to Peyton's girlfriend, who didn't know he was there with two juveniles.
Peyton was taken to Montgomery County jail on a potential charge of contributing to the unruliness or delinquency of a child.
