Man says woman attacked, bloodied near Dayton garage

A woman showed up to a man’s Dayton home bloodied and saying someone attacked and attempted to rape her by a Dayton garage, according to a 911 call.

“She just walked in the door and she said they were trying to rape her,” Chris West said.

West said the woman was covered in blood when she came to his house on Adams Street Thursday morning.

“She had blood all over her jacket and all over her face,” West said.

West said the woman told him the attack allegedly happened near a garage in the 0-100 block of Vine Street early this morning, when a man she knew jumped on her.

“There was another guy that heard her yell and screaming and came out and knocked him off of her,” West said.

We’re working to learn if police have identified any suspect in the case.
