UPDATE: Man strangled at Dayton nursing home; fellow resident arrested

DAYTON — UPDATE @ 12 p.m.: 

The Montgomery County Coroner has identified the man killed at the Mary Scott Nursing Center Wednesday.

Anthony Moran, 45, of Dayton died by smothering or strangulation and his death has been ruled a homicide, according to Dr. Kent Harshbarger.

Moran was a resident of the nursing center, according to police.

Salvador N. Cisneros, 59, was arrested at the nursing center on a preliminary charge of murder, according to jail records. Cisneros was also a resident at the nursing center, initial dispatch records indicate.

Police have arrested a man on a preliminary charge of murder connected to the death of another man at a nursing home in Dayton, according to police and jail records.

Salvador N. Cisneros, 59, was arrested at the Mary Scott Nursing Center at 3109 Campus Drive Wednesday on a preliminary charge of murder, according to a Dayton police report.   The suspect and victim were both residents of Mary Scott, according to Dayton police.

The victim has only been identified as a 45-year-old man, according to a Dayton police incident report. The victim’s name, hometown, and cause of death have not been released by the Montgomery County Coroner’s Office.
