Man accused of pulling knife while shoplifting in Kettering Meijer

KETTERING — A man spent his birthday in jail after he was accused of pulling out a knife while shoplifting, according to investigators.

David S. Sizemore, 31, was arrested Friday afternoon near the Meijer on Wilmington Pike after officers tracked him down.

Sizemore is currently being held on suspicion of robbery, felonious assault, resisting arrest and theft. Formal charges have not been approved.

Police had responded to the Meijer around 3:30 p.m.

Sizemore, who turned 31 on Saturday, is in the Montgomery County Jail.
