Local law firm will work as co-counsel for the family of Andre’ Hill

DAYTON — The Dayton-based law firm, Wright & Schulte, LLC announced today that they are joining attorney Benjamin Crump as co-counsel for the family of Andre’ Hill, the Columbus man who was shot and killed by a Columbus police officer.

Hill was shot and killed on Dec. 22 after officers with the Columbus Division of Police arrived at the home he was visiting.

Yesterday, Columbus Safety Director, Ned Pettus, Jr., announced he would uphold Columbus Police Chief, Thomas Quinlan’s move to terminate the officer involved in the shooting.

Attorney Michael Wright said the firm will work tirelessly to help Hill’s family get justice.

“While nothing can bring Andre’ Hill back to his family, we will do everything in our power to ensure that this family holds the Columbus Division of Police accountable for the actions of the officer who took Andre’s life,” Wright said in a press release.
