ENGLEWOOD — The Kroger in Englewood, located off Union Blvd., reopened its doors Friday afternoon after a $1.5 million remodel.

The new additions included decor, expanded departments, even more checkout lanes, and new digital technology.
Kroger has additionally donated $500 gift cards to both Northmont F.I.S.H. and the St. Vincent de Paul food pantry.

The mayor and city manager of Englewood were both in attendance at the reopening.
The grocery store chain has been in the community since 2007.
With the new remodel, Kroger Englewood offers 20 cents off gasoline through October 13.
