Local businesses will participate in the The Foobank’s annual Canstruction event by building sculptures out of canned goods that will be on display for the public.
Construction companies, architects, engineers and manufacturers will create structures at the Dayton Mall on Wednesday.

The event, sponsored by the Ohio Valley Associated Builders and Contracts, will run from Oct. 2 through Oct. 14, and visitors can also drop-off their own donations during this time.
All canned goods collected will be donated to The Foodbank to support hunger relief.
