At least 1 hospitalized from 2-vehicle crash in Trotwood

One person was hospitalized after two vehicles crashed in Trotwood Wednesday evening.

Trotwood Police and Fire were dispatched to the intersection of Salem Avenue and Turner Road at around 6:41 p.m. on reports of a crash, News Center 7 crews stated from the scene.

As multiple officers arrived, they discovered at least two vehicles crashed and sustained moderate damage to the front and sides.

The crash left at least one person injured, who was promptly taken to Kettering Health Dayton by medics. The severity of their condition was unknown at the time of reporting.

Emergency responders shut down northbound Salem Avenue immediately following the crash to clear the debris from the road, transport the injured victims, and tow the damaged cars.

The Trotwood Police Department led the investigation into the crash.
