Hamilton County Prosecutor Joe Deters served the city with a subpoena, asking that no videos or photos from the investigation be released to the public, until his office completes an investigation, Smitherman said.

“We want to review the CPD report on the Kyle Plush matter before any videos or still pictures are released,” Deters said in a statement. “We expect the review to be completed by early next week.”

This morning Chief Eliot Isaac will present city council with the final report. Many questions should be answered - but some may remain a mystery if pieces of the investigation are withheld from the public, according to our partners at WCPO.

Plush became trapped and suffocated in a van despite calling 911 twice on April 10. The 911 dispatcher was placed on leave after the death, but returned to work the next week.
