UPDATE: Suspect in Kettering public indecency investigation taken into custody

KETTERING — UPDATE: @ 9:45 a.m.

The Kettering Police Department says the suspect in “several incidents of indecent exposure and lewd behavior” is now in custody.

Chad Lovell, 35, is currently in custody at the Kettering Jail and is facing a charge of public indecency, according to online jail records.

INITIAL REPORT:

The Kettering Police Department is reaching out to the public for help identifying a suspect in connection to a public indecency investigation.

Police say the man is suspected of performing a sexual act on himself and exposing himself in public twice in one day.

The first incident happened on Saturday around 3:45 p.m. at the Kroger on East Dorothy Lane, police said. The second occurred at Delco Park around 7:30 p.m.

Police say the suspect could potentially be charged with indecent exposure if identified.
