Kettering to hold drive-thru ‘shred day’ this weekend

KETTERING — The city of Kettering and Day Air Credit Union partnered to offer a free shred day for Kettering residents.

The event is a way for residents to safely dispose of personal and household documents.

This year’s event will be drive-thru, allowing residents to remain in their cars. Staff and volunteers will be available to remove the items for shredding.

The city asks that people bring papers to be shredded in cardboard boxes or other containers and to not place papers in trash bags or other plastic bags.
