UPDATE: One woman sent to the hospital after 3 vehicles crash in Vandalia

Vandalia — UPDATE:

Three vehicles were involved in the accident, according to our crew on the scene.

Officers say that an SUV failed to stop and crashed into the back of a white Altima, pushing it into an Equinox in front of them.

The driver of the Altima was sent to the hospital just as a precaution due to her being pregnant.

The officer on the scene said wet roads may have played a role in the crash.

INITIAL REPORT:

A two-vehicle crash happened just before 3 a.m. on West National Rd near Dayton International Airport.

Scanner traffic indicates a pregnant woman was injured in the crash.

The two vehicles involved are reportedly a white Altima and a blue sedan.
