CLEARCREEK TWP. — Three people were indicted in connection to a man who was reportedly kidnapped and kept in a dog cage in Clearcreek Twp.
Lindsey Parker, 22; Christopher Edwards, 38; and Bryan Parker, 46; are facing kidnapping and felonious assault charges, according to the Warren County grand jury report.
All three are scheduled to appear in court Wednesday.
The victim, a 22-year-old man from Cincinnati, was found at Dayton Children’s Hospital after he reportedly escaped and drove an ambulance to flee.
The man was held from Oct. 16 through Oct. 19, according to the indictment.
“The defendants physically restrained and assaulted the victim,” the indictment said. “On Oct. 19, the victim escaped and fled to Clearcreek Fire District Station 22, where he got into a medic and subsequently drove to Dayton Children’s Hospital for help.”
According to Clearkcreek Twp. Sgt. Wallace Stacy, the man was lured to the residence where he was held captive and thought he was coming to help an ex-girlfriend who said she was being abused.
“And he believed he was on a rescue mission,” Stacy said.
After three days of reportedly being held captive and assaulted, the man escaped to a fire station nearby and took an ambulance.
The victim’s injuries included cuts, burns and bruises, according to police.
