UPDATE @ 5:18 p.m.: There are now two injuries from that crash on Dayton Xenia Road, a trooper with the Ohio Highway Patrol said.
Neither victim suffered life-threatening injuries. One has been taken to Miami Valley Hospital - South, the other to Soin Medical Center.
According to the trooper at the scene, the preliminary investigation shows that the driver of a dark colored Scion was turning left onto Distribution Drive, from Dayton Xenia Road, when it was rear-ended by another vehicle.
The driver of the offending car is likely to be cited for failure to maintain assured clear distance, the trooper said.
Dayton Xenia Road is now open in both directions.
FIRST REPORT
At least one person has been taken to a hospital from a two-vehicle accident on Dayton Xenia Road, in the area of Distribution Drive.
Traffic on Dayton Xenia Road is shut down in both directions because of the crash, which was dispatched about 4:45 p.m.
The condition of the victim extricated from the wreckage is not known.
