Hazmat team responds to crash on Edwin C. Moses Boulevard

A hazmat team responded to a crash involving a semi truck near Edwin C. Moses Boulevard and Germantown Pike Tuesday just before 4 p.m.

The crash resulted in the semi truck’s fuel tank rupturing and spilling diesel fuel.

Dispatch says that the driver of the semi estimated there was around 100 gallons of diesel fuel in the leaking vehicle.

Two people were transported to Miami Valley Hospital, but there were no details on the extent of their injuries at this time.
