Greene County fair to have rides, games under modified plan

GREENE COUNTY — The Greene County Fairboard formally voted to hold a “modified full fair” for 2020 in August.

The decision will allow the fair to have junior fair events, limited grandstands events, rides, games, food and camping, according to the a Facebook post on the fair’s page.

“Please understand that this is a work in progress and we will give weekly updates,” the fair announced.

The fair will take place at the Greene County Fairgrounds from Aug. 4 until Aug. 8.

The committees for the fair are working on a schedule of events and will release those details at a later date.
