Vigil honors 4 family members killed in West Third Street crash

DAYTON — The funeral services for the four people killed in a Christmas Day crash in Dayton will take place this weekend.

The crash happened on West Third Street in the area of Brooklyn Avenue around 11 a.m.

Killed in the crash were Renee Jones-Blevins, 49; Quaishia Jones, 28; Mae’lah Jones, 5; and Tae-Kwaun Jones, 10.

A memorial service for the victims will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Mt. Enon Baptist Church, 1501 W. Third St., according to obituaries posted on Pryor Crematory & Funeral Home’s website.

Two other victims in the crash, Tre’Jsaun Jones, 12, and Armani Jones, 2, remain at Dayton Children’s Hospital in critical condition, according to a hospital spokesperson. Two others, D’Layah Jones, 5, and Dalyiah Jones, 1, were treated and released.
