It was another soggy morning across the Miami Valley. If you were up real early, you had to contend with that rain.
.8″ had fallen at the Dayton International Airport by mid morning Friday.

What makes this rain special? It was rain yet again on a Friday. If you feel like it has rained on your Friday plans almost every other week, you’d be right. April 28th marked the 17th Friday of 2023, and it was the 8th Friday of the year that has featured rain in Dayton.
5.83 of Dayton’s 14.9″, or 39%, of Dayton’s rain this year has come on Fridays.
Much of the Miami Valley picked up between a half inch and an inch of rain this morning. More is possible over the weekend and into next week.
