Foodbank Inc. to hold ‘Holiday Help Out’ food donation through weekend

TROTWOOD — The Foodbank Inc. is hosting a drive-thru food donation event through the weekend at Trotwood Fire and Rescue Station 72 for Trotwood and surrounding area residents.

The event will kick off today Friday, November 18, and continue through November 20 according to a press release.

The Foodbank is looking for donations of non-perishable food items and personal care products, as well as gloves and hats.

“The annual food drive is always important, but this year it is more important than ever! This is only possible with the help of the community and our partners, the City of Trotwood, Mayor Mary McDonald, Fire Chief Rick Haacke, Attorney Blake R. Maislin, Buffalo Wild Wings, Cartwright Family Fund, Realtor Sean Lightfoot, Abundant Life Christ Centered Ministries, The Steve Harvey Morning Show, and our loyal listeners and supporters,” said WROU Program Director Faith Daniels.

Donations can be made safely without leaving your vehicle.
