DAYTON — Firefighters are investigating after a fire was ‘intentionally set’ in a vacant residence in Dayton early Sunday morning.

Just after 4 a.m., crews were dispatched to the 30 block of Fernwood Ave on reports of a structure fire.

Upon arrival, crews found fire in the back of the boarded-up duplex.
No injuries were reported on the scene, according to Dayton Fire officials.
The damage caused by the fire is estimated to be around $11,000.
Crews were on the scene for about 3 hours.
