Bethel Township Fire Department Lieutenant Andrew Porter said upon arrival, everyone had gotten out of the house.
Firefighters quickly worked to extinguish the flames.
There aren’t any fire hydrants in the area, so crews had to call for tankers to bring more water to the scene.
“The damage is fairly isolated to one spot in the home, but there is quite a bit of damage,” Porter said.
The family has been displaced due to the fire, but no injuries were reported.
The cause remains under investigation.
We will continue to follow this story.
