TROY — An investigator from the State Fire Marshal’s office was requested to help firefighters determine the cause of a fire that damaged the Donatos Pizza restaurant in Troy Wednesday morning.

Firefighters reported smoke and flames were coming from the restaurant in the 400 block of West Main Street after they were dispatched around 10 a.m.
All employees were able to safely evacuate before crews got on scene and no injuries were reported., investigators told News Center 7.
It was not immediately known how long the restaurant might have to close due to the fire.
An investigator from the State Fire Marshal’s office was requested to the scene to help firefighters identify the source of the blaze. Firefighters added the marshal’s office was requested due to the anticipated cost of damage to the restaurant.
